Mandrem Beach In Goa

It’s on the way to Arambol Beach, to the north of Asvem beach. The village of Pernem was a cashew plantation area, much known for the Goan Feni. Nowadays, it is more popular as a beach town. The hills in the backdrop provide for trekking and hiking options.

This beach is a fairly secluded one. There are only a few hotels and lodges available here. But that makes it a good spot for relaxing. You can be assured of a serene holiday here. The beach is visited by Olive Ridley turtles during their nesting season. Nature lovers can go for early morning walks to spot them.

The market town of Madlamaz-Mandrem is located nearby. You can get good quality seafood and drinks here. To reach Mandrem you should cross the Chapora River from the Chopdem-Siolim ferry-crossing or the Colvale bridge. You’ll reach the Velhas Conquistas of Pernem. From Colvale, it is only a half-hour drive to Mandrem. At Morjim village, the view of the hills is exhilarating.
