Asvem Beach In Goa

The beach at Asvem is a popular hangout for tourists, in North Goa. Many restaurants and hotel line this beautiful secluded beach. It is away from the busy city, but close enough to reach quickly. Arambol is the nearest city. Panaji is 55km away.

Bamboo beach huts are famous landmarks on the Asvem Beach. You can even pitch a hammock near the shady palm trees. The Chapora River, near the beach, is good for fishing and boating. Boating, cruises and dolphin tours are great leisure activities on the Asvem Beach and the river nearby. As the beach is a nesting ground for Olive Ridley turtles, you can also go turtle walking and learn a lot about them.

Tourists can walk or cycle to Arambol beach and enjoy water sporting opportunities such as windsurfing, body boarding and kite surfing. The Morjim Beach, Mandrem Beach and Dunas Beach are located within a short distance.

The entertaining nightlife is just fabulous: you can find good nightclubs and a few casinos in the town. The best time to visit the area is between October and May. This beach is a spot for topless tourists and backpackers, too.
