Anjunem Dam
It is located on the Sanquelim-Belgaum highway in Chorla ghat. Sanquelim is 10km away. There’s a lot of greenery around. Morlemgad and are peaks near the dam. Guests can stay at the forest department rest house at Keri and an irrigation department rest house above the dam. The private eco resort in Chorla ghat is also available for stay.
Bhagvan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary
The Bhagvan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary is in Mollem. It covers about 240sq.km and is the largest of Goa's four wildlife areas. Inside the sanctuary is located the Molem National Park. The sanctuary is only 53km from Panaji, and is situated on the border with Karnataka. The Directorate of Tourism has arranged cottages and rooms in Mollem for tourists.

You can find leopards, spotted deer, gaur, sambar, slender loris, giant squirrels, elephants, Indian bison, pythons, cobras and other animals. From the Devil's Canyon View Point you can spot animals and birds.

A short trek away is the Tambdisurla temple of the Kadambas. From the Range Forest Officer you can hire jeeps and equipment to go into the interior jungle. There’s an observation platform inside the park from where you may be able to see some wild animals.
